One connected manufacturing management platform
SupplySpec brings product, supplier and compliance information together so manufacturers can stop running critical processes across disconnected systems.
The hidden cost of disconnected systems
Many manufacturers have an ERP for transactions, spreadsheets for product and supplier details, shared folders for technical documents and a separate system for quality actions. Each can work independently while the organisation struggles to answer one simple question: which version is approved, and what else does it affect?
For SMEs this means hours of manual reconciliation. For larger manufacturing groups it creates complex handovers between procurement, technical, quality and operations. A single manufacturing system of record reduces that fragmentation by connecting the records, not by pretending to replace every operational application.
- Specifications, ingredients, packaging and products
- Supplier onboarding and supporting evidence
- Quality incidents and corrective actions
- Controlled documents, changes and compliance records
Start with what you need; connect more as you grow
A small business can begin with a document register or supplier record. A multi-site group can apply controlled approvals across a wider catalogue. SupplySpec provides modular functions and role-based access so adoption does not have to be an all-or-nothing project.
Existing ERP, warehouse and production systems remain important. SupplySpec's integration foundations can exchange reviewed records through CSV, API and configured transfer workflows, with customer-specific integration and data ownership still requiring planning.
Visibility is not a compliance certificate
The platform helps teams organise evidence, approvals, traceability relationships and corrective actions. Customers remain responsible for validating supplier claims, making technical assessments, meeting their legal duties and maintaining appropriate operational controls.
General information only. SupplySpec supports documentation, record control and review workflows. It does not provide legal advice, independent certification or a guarantee of regulatory compliance.
